Time for our Lectio Divina

• It is necessary, at a minimum, to have read the Gospel before coming; to have read, if possible, the first reading or, even better, all the readings of the Mass: this is the " Lectio " part proper. You will find the liturgical texts for each Sunday at https://www.paroissedelasne.com/liturgie-a

• Welcoming everyone

• Prayer to the Holy Spirit

• Gospel reading (5 minutes)

• Each person rereads the text silently, noting the word or words that resonate with them, and takes time to meditate. (20 minutes). “ Meditatio ”

• Everyone is invited, whenever they wish, to share with others the word or words that touched them and why. (20 minutes). This listening to one another is a prayer: " Oratio "

• Once everyone has had a chance to speak, we can build upon certain points, but always in a spirit of prayer. It is also a time of contemplation where everyone can rejoice in the Spirit's presence in the hearts of their brothers and sisters. " Contemplatio "

• We conclude with the Lord's Prayer.

This time of listening to the Word received in our hearts invites us to live the Gospel concretely where we are: " Action and witness " and thus become, through our lives, our actions and our Word, true witnesses of the Good News.
