Jubilee Prayer

Heavenly Father,

In your son Jesus Christ, our brother,

You gave us faith.

And you have poured into our hearts, through the Holy Spirit, the flame of charity.

May they awaken in us the blessed hope of the coming of your Kingdom.

May your grace transform us.

So that we may make the seeds of the Gospel bear fruit,

Which will help humanity and all of creation to flourish,

In confident anticipation of the new heavens and the new earth,

When the powers of evil are defeated,

And your glory manifested forever.

May the grace of the Jubilee,

Which makes us Pilgrims of Hope,

It rekindles in us the yearning for heavenly blessings.

And spread joy and peace throughout the world

From our Redeemer.

To you, God blessed for eternity,

praise and glory forever and ever.
