BERN, SWITZERLAND - JUNY 27, 2022: The fresco of Baptism of Jesus in the church Dreifaltigkeitskirche by August Müller (1923). Par Renáta Sedmáková

Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them […] and teaching them to observe all the commandments which I have given you.”   (Mt28:19-20)

Baptism, confirmation, and the Eucharist constitute the sacraments of Christian initiation. They lead to their full stature the faithful called to exercise their mission in the Church and in the world: to proclaim Jesus Christ, to celebrate the glory of God, and to serve humanity and the world. Through the sacrament of confirmation, the bond of the baptized with the Church is made more perfect; they are sealed with the Holy Spirit, enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit, the same strength that was given to the Apostles on the day of Pentecost to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, by word and deed.

Baptism is the entry into the great family of Christians.

This process can be undertaken at any age.

but the support is specific to each age group:
